Read what parents are saying about Woodinville High SchoolThis school has been for a while now has been turning a blind eye to male teachers walking into the girls bathroom just to check if students are vaping. There has been multiple accounts of this at Woodinville and under any circumstances should that be okay unless it is a life threatening emergency, I personally have had this happen to me, Woodinville high school caused me to have severe anxiety due to how much people there was in a class, I only went there for a welding class because My main school was SAS. Due to how much stress it gave me I was alway in the bathroom with an upset stomach. Well one morning while I was in the bathroom (with an upset stomach) a couple girls came in to the bathroom while I was still over the toilet, after a bit a male teacher puts half of his body in and pulls everyone out including me, again I am still over the toilet clearly in pain. I tell him over and over that I need to go back because I am not feeling well explained that my teacher already knew where I was and what was happening because it was a bit of a routine in the morning. Im vividly upset about this and he says that I don’t need to have an attitude with him. I personally feel like it was justified for me to be upset that a male teacher decided to take that situation into his own hands instead of getting a female teacher to come in instead.
Posted by a student on 7/20/2022Teachers use subjective standards to assign grades. Low moral among students because grading doesn’t seem fair.
Posted by a parent on 2/2/2022Excellent experience, period. Top notch teachers in general - certainly the equivalent or better than many top level private prep schools across the country. Lots of AP offerings, the vast majority of which are exceptionally well taught). The French, Math, English (Lang + Lit), Music, Physics, and Chemistry departments stand out. Many excellent extracurricular programs and organizations, especially ASB, Drama and FBLA/Future Business Leaders of America). Adequately prepared students who arrive in 9th grade, who are motivated to succeed and who put in the work, will succeed far above the state average. Solid sports programs and strong facilities across the board. I’m a hard to impress parent whose child is about to graduate and I couldn’t be more pleased. Bottom line, notwithstanding the ghastly Zoom-taught year of COVID, Woodinville HS provides about as good a public school experience as one could wish for.
Posted by a parent on 4/10/20219.5 out of 10 although it’s not the best school, the teachers are amazingly unique and students are always eager to move on onto new stuff

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWoodin Elementary staff is exemplar of educators who care deeply about their students' educational experience and personal growth. Every year my son and daughter have had wonderful teachers. My son has learning differences and the staff have offered him comprehensive support through out the IEP process and goal setting for academic achievement. It's wonderful to watch him blossom as a learner and gain confidence in his skills. I highly recommend this school!Parent Review2y ago - Brock's Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are using a Brock's Academy tutor to help my 10 year old son with homework and basic organization skills. My son has ADD and a language processing disorder, and homework time is often a strain on our relationship. He looks forward to working with his tutor twice a week, and it gives both of us a break. We have been very happy with the services, and plan to use the tutor throughout the summer for both of our children.Parent Review11y ago - Providence Classical Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMany reviewers are correct when they tout the excellence of the school. However, it is the classical Christian model that is excellent, rather than the administration of that model. Classical education teaches critical thinking, logical reasoning, rhetoric, philosophy and a biblical worldview. It’s the best possible education for discipleship. Classical education gives children the tools they need to combat the propaganda, moral relativism and the perversion of our culture and times. However, this school has a perfectionist model which has lent itself to pride. The administration can critique, but cannot receive feedback well. They treat parents as if they could not possibly possess valued insights when they come to them with concerns. They don’t problem solve, truly listen, consider ways to improve, or to grow, look for paths forward, or are solution oriented. They never apologize, regardless of how glaring the misstep. They simply recite their rehearsed rhetoric and send you on your way. It’s their way or the highway. They call themselves experts all the time and act as if they have no room for growth. Yet, many teachers and administrators do not have a background in education, or a higher education at all, or any professional experience beyond the walls of the school. On one occasion, I brought forward a concern and experienced an adhomonym attack, a red herring, and whataboutism logical fallacies, all in one setting. That’s not professional, or good customer service, or representative of a brand that espouses to combat such flawed ways of navigating the world. The education is good, but the pride, the pride, the pride. If you attend you won’t be sorry, but you will have to overlook a lot. Pray for the school and the prideful leadership. Humility is not one of the virtues promoted by the school, but it’s the only virtue that must be present for any of the other virtues to exist.Parent Review1y ago - Woodinville Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePretty good so far. Very engaged teachers and teaching each kid individually to their own capability. Our kid is very happy at the school and mixed age classrooms and keeping teachers same for years is very good.Parent Review4mo ago - Woodinville Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been sending my kids here for many years now. There are chairs and tables and their are walls and a roof on the school. I really appreciate the electricity in the lights, and the water in the sinks. One day my kid was eating a peanut butter sandwich and his best friend has peanut allergies. My kid is a rather messy eater. He got a little butter on the floor. And his best friend touched the peanut butter and he had allergic reaction. The teacher immediately rushed to the table and dealt with the situation. It was very professional and the teacher called me to let me know this had happened. I love this school it slays. The students are really respectful and I LOVE them to the bottom of my heart. I love Maria Montessori. I love this school so much I come here everyday except the weekends, EVEN ON WINTER BREAK. #iluvmariamontessoriOther Review3mo ago - Dolan Academy & Learning Center
