Read what parents are saying about Timbercrest Junior High SchoolI've never really known how lucky we are to be a part of this school until one of our children has gotten himself in a big trouble and the way the TMS leadership team has handled the situation. We have three kids currently attending TMS and we know that they are loved here.
Posted by a parent on 11/24/2021I love this school, the teachers and all of the staff. They care about the students and their education. They want the students to learn and succeed. When my kids have a problem, they can ask their teacher(s) and the teachers are responsive. Fantastic Principal. The PTSA works hard to advocate for the students. Overall great school.
Posted by a parent on 10/25/2020Amazing! I started at this Middle School this year and absolutely love the students and teachers! This is an outstanding school with many opportunities for success in academics. They offer lots of electives ranging from robotics to drama to an extra PE! They offer the core classes in regular or challenge. But you can also skip a couple grades in math, which I am currently doing. I love this school and would totally recommend it to any new students in 6-8 grade!
Posted by a student on 4/12/2018I have gone to this school for three years, most of these other reviews will be parents with a second hand account of what the school is like. As a current student (as of 2015) this school is absolutely amazing. From the wonderful staff and faculty to the students, they all treat you with the respect every student deserves. All new students are welcomed with open arms because of the W.E.B. Program and fellow students. There are a lot of after school activities and sports for students to participate in, from year book club to after school tennis, they have everything. Timbercrest made school really fun and I hope this review helped everyone who read it!
Posted by a student on 8/25/2015Don't provide false information about this school. Someone said in a comment "Drugs are a huge problem and more than half the school is using them." I GO TO THIS SCHOOL. THAT STATEMENT IS NOT TRUE. The teachers are helpful and clearly want students to succeed. There is minimum bullying, and teachers work their VERY hardest to stop it.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been going here for a couple of years now and they love it. They’ve both come a long way in their academic capabilities and even social/emotional growth. The vast majority of teachers have been not only excellent teachers but good communicators (with the exception of only one). The school staff is friendly and the curriculum is good. I’d recommend this school as it is so far our best elementary school experience.Parent Review9mo ago - Bear Creek Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe switched over from a "prestigious" private school that was more about money and social status than education. We are so happy we made this switch to Bear Creek. The vision and philosophy is incredible as they recognize each child is an individual with different gifts and talents which they are quick to recognize and nurture even as early as preschool! The head of school is genuine, solid, good vision and the teachers have been AMAZING!! They really care about each child and maximizing each child's potential. The administration really listen to your concerns and try their best to make changes if it's possible and good for the overall school. My children who are each very different are thriving here. There truly is something for every child from very strong academics, sports, music, arts, drama...my kindergartener gets to play in an orchestra! (Now how many schools offer that?!?) I love the emphasis on lifetime character too. They really instill the love of learning and the process which is a lifetime value we believe is important for success in any arena. It's wonderful to be in a community that values every parent and child because we are each of great worth and can contribute!Parent Review10y ago - East Ridge Elementary School
