The teacher did not know how to control her classroom, one child was bullying kids in the class and all the teacher would do is take points from the child. I went to the teacher about Mt daughter getting bullied and was told she didn't know anything of it. I went to the assistant principal in person about the incidents that occurred with my daughter and this bully, nothing was done. It wasn't until I got strong with then and threatened to go to the department of education that the assistant principal talked to the child that was bullying my daughter. Meanwhile the teacher yelled at my daughter embarrassing her and made her cry under her desk with other students watching. My daughter got to the point where she told me she didn't want to talk to her teacher because she felt her teacher didn't pay attention to her complaints. I'm doing everything possible to remove my child from this school so that way she is out of there the following school year. Don't send your child here! If you want your child to get an education send then to a REAL school, this is just a out of control day Care with a school title.Parent Review7y ago - Wilby High School

"bunker hill is a calmer section of waterbury. still good enough to raise children. all the schools in waterbury need improving but you at least know the neighborhood is worthwhile. "

"most people don't even have their dogs on leashes. they poop everywhere. my kids and I have had to tell the same neighbors about their dog of which I personally got chased by SEVERAL TIMES WHILE BEING PREGNANT"

"i see a lot people walking their dogs most of them care for their dogs and they are mindful of other people but some of them are very horrible people who teach the animals to be vicious and to attack other animals they walk around without a leash terrorising the neighborhood."

"Not a good area to leave in. To Much drugs and prostitutes in this place. Not safe for kids. Street lamps dont work most of the time. People in their cars love to speed no respect for kids playing or stop signs."

"This neighborhood is HORRIBLE they fight and shoot theres prostitution and extreme drug activity theres constant police activity 24/7 the police harass tenants of the neighborhood they pick houses in the neighborhood to raid its just a terrible place to live actually the worst area in all of Waterbury "

"Not bad to live in. But there a lot of crime on willow . It’s not a good street to walk during the day or night. That’s why I am looking to move out of this area. I don’t feel comfortable bringing my grandchildren to visit because of this problem "

"this area is very quiet it is a dead end street no traffic whatsoever and very close walking distance to the Walgreens Pharmacy, KFC, Subways, Mc Donalds, Gas Station and much more. Overall great for a family that enjoys quiet space for themselves "

"This block is really nice. All the homes are multifamily on one end (closer to willow) and all the multi family homes are home owner occupied. Very friendly block with neighbor hood watch. Every-one knows eachother. If you walk two blocks there is a huge park, Fulton Park wich is great for children and very safe. On Willow is a bus that will take you quick to the train station or to the peter pan bus that will take you to Manhattan in 2 hours. Waterbury is a great place to live!"
