5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a 8th grader, I have seen pretty much all that this school, has to offer. My review for the school is mixed, especially with the teachers. On one hand there are horrible teachers who will make your life miserable who I will definitely not name because I'm not a monster. But they will assign way to much homework, not respect the students, and sometimes I genuinely question how they were hired in the first place. I have seen cases where they will file false reports on students who go against their beliefs or just take their job way too seriously and in one case file multiple reports against students a day (Yes I swear this is is real). Sometimes it really seems like they take pleasure in making children unhappy. I have seen many instances where teachers blatantly pick favorites and give them power over their peers. Sometimes it means letting the teachers favorite dismissing the class or sometimes it means having the watch their peers when the teacher is gone and report any rulebreaking. This system is actually pretty well though out. If you make the kids miserable they will hate you, but if you pit them against each other they forget that it is you that is really causing their unhappiness. As much as there has been some bad teachers in the school, the majority of teachers are great. A lot of them actually seem like they enjoy being teachers, and genuinely like kids. Some of the best teachers include McCloud, Moll, and Goodman. So if you are thinking about signing your kid up for bhms its not a bad idea but just be prepared to deal with some bad teachers. "It is a quiet neighborhood nestled close to the big city. It is close to shopping and restaurants. All of my neighbors are really friendly, and there are a couple of nice parks nearby."

"On the downside, there can be a lot of traffic, which could be bad for pets. But, it is a safe neighborhood if you wanted to take your dog for a walk. There are also parks you can walk your dogs in."

"It's a really safe area for kids. Midway Blvd can get really busy during rush hour. There are a few great parks and schools within walking distance. There is also a pool in the neighborhood, and a rec center."

"There is a great view of the mountain range with easy access to the open space/ bike trail. We are close to several parks. We are near several schools which are some of the best in the district. This neighborhood in Broomfield has an air of stimulation and safety."
