8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI dislike this school sooooo immensely it’s not even funny. I have never in my life seen such issues with bullying and even the front desk people think it’s funny to try and pick on me! (Mom) you all are absolutely unprofessional and you expect absolute obedience but can’t even get your stories straight. I will look forward to moving so much more than I ever have. You guys need a COMPLETE overhaul. I regret ever putting my children in this school. Shame on all of you.Parent Review4mo ago - Middletown High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a military family and had to move for my sons senior year. All the excess things he had to play catch up on is just crazy. Required community service and the Capstone project in order to graduate. Not easy when you only have the senior year to complete. Poor communication... never told about signing up for iparent until December. Signed up and no access code sent like they said they would. Find out hard way son is sinking and most likely not graduate.Parent Review7y ago - Forest Avenue School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was ok, i had a couple problems before leaving the area with this school by what my child used to come and tell me…the teachers have this silly clip system where they had pink, blue, green, orange, red for good & bad behavior. My son came home scared thinking he was going to get in trouble by us because the teacher moved his clip to orange just for saying “white sucks” OBVIOUSLY my child was talking about the color to COLOR with, I don’t teach ignorance in my home so I know he wasn’t talking about skin color…also my son had problems with certain students being mean to him in class, when he would tell the teachers they would tell him to “Stop tattle telling” really??? So if my son was being bullied nothing would’ve been done about it since he was “tattle telling”…they also give easy work for 1st graders. We’re off to a different school now and he loves it where he is at momentarily than forest avenue. One more thing…they also have this principals awards thing and they choose and favor the PTA students every single time…Parent Review11mo ago - Joseph Gaudet Academy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been disappointed in this school since my son started 4th grade here. The teachers do not send home progress reports regularly. They wait until the week before report cards to hold conferences and tell you that they would have sent a progress report home if it was needed only for you to receive the report card and be disappointed to see your child has some 2's which is not acceptable when the grading scale is 1-5. In fourth grade they also showed videos and had a discussion on puberty and such and I was not informed this would be happening so you can imagine my surprise when my son came home asking about babies and certain body parts. I noticed an email went out this year about it so I guess I was not the only one who was upset.Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 11 Woolsey Rd.

"Oxbow Farms i wouldn't recommended for anyone unless you are in situation were really don’t have a choice. Maintenance comes to fix your stuff always doing a halfway job leaving it worst then before. They will charge you for every single thing but when you move out they have 0 consideration for you and charge anything they can so they can keep part of your deposit. It’s ridiculous!!! Unsafe neighborhood people were actually kill there and find dead on their on homes. Police is always there for one reason or another. Office stuff only one of the worker there is nice. If you had another option I would take it. This would be your last resort."
