"So many dogs! The downtown dog park is not our favorite (grumpy dogs and lazy owners) the concord one is alittle bit of a drive but WAY worth it soo many dogs and the owners are nice. "

"My parents bought our home in 1946. I lived here after my parents brought me home from the Hospital and until I got married. They worked at Highland Park Mill for 20 years until it closed down in 1969. Both of my Parents have gone to Heaven now to rest, and when Moma went home in 2009, she left their home to my husband and I. So many things have changed and I never thought I would ever see the day when all of this would happen. It's all for the good but it sure is different. I have pictures of the mill before it was torn down to build the apartments. We live right across the road from it. I never in a million years thought that I would be living across the street from a bar. They sell food there, too. But since my husband and I don't drink we don't go there. And a bar that you can take your doggies to? lol That one takes the cake. But the one that's above all of them is the Blue Lyte Rail. That one has been a long time coming and I can't wait for it to get here. I just wonder if it's whistle is going to be louder that our trains whistle is? If it is, my little Chihuahua is going to have to get use to hearing that one. I hope that everybody, old and new that lives in NODA is enjoying our little city within a city. I love the people because all of them are so very nice, and neighborly. Just like the old days and you just don't get that anywhere else. Welcome to NODA newcomers. :)"

"This is not a home for a growing family. It is best suited for singles or young couples, but it meets the three most important real estate factors of location, location and location. The home is across the street from the Heist Brewery and the NoDa Animal Hospital. One block from Brook's Sandwich House. Two blocks from the Johnston YMCA. Three blocks from Fifth-Third Bank, Crepe Cellar, Growler's Pourhouse, Amelie's French Bakery (open 24/7), NoDa Market & Deli, the LGBT Community Center of Charlotte and the Carolina Actors Studio Theatre (CAST). Four blocks from NoDa Brewing Company, Cabo Fish Taco, Dolce Vita, Jack Beagles and the architecturally significant Charlotte Fire Station No.7. Five blocks from Miyagi's, Solstice Tavern, Revolution Ale House, The Evening Muse and the future 25th Street light rail station. Six blocks from Behailu Academy, Boudreaux's Louisiana Kitchen, UpStage, The Blind Pig, Neighborhood Theatre, The Chop Shop, Smelly Cat Coffee House and the Dog Bar. Seven blocks from Cordelia Park, NoDa Bark and Board, Highland Mill Montessori Elementary School and the future 36th Street/NoDa light rail station, which allows for easy access to amenities from Pineville to Southend to Dilworth to Uptown and on to the University City area (2017), with a quick +1 bus ride to Charlotte Motor Speedway from the end of the light rail. Nine blocks from the future Cullman Avenue Park; half a mile from Villa Heights Elementary, the Historic Rosedale Plantation and the future Charlotte terminal of the East Coast High Speed Rail system, which will link areas between Boston, Buffalo, New York City, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Raleigh, Charlotte, Columbia, Atlanta, Savannah and Jacksonville. The artistic atmosphere, pet friendly residents and walkability of the neighborhood simply cannot be overstated."

"This charming neighborhood offers so much ! The friendly atmosphere is contagious and you can not walk anywhere without people waving hi and stopping to talk. Walk to bars, restaurants and shops. Great pocket parks thru out the neighborhood. Residents are young professionals, artist to long term home owners. Just blocks to center city and uptown,(you can see it from your house!) and bus lines go right up Davidson St. "
