Description
The Buckman neighborhood in Central Eastside is every bit the hip Portland neighborhood. Here you'll find dozens more independent restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and boutiques, nestled among beautiful old Portland homes, gleaming high-rises, food trucks, and restored warehouses. And smack dab in the middle of it all is Modera Belmont, brand-new apartments designed to make the most of the Portland lifestyle. Here, you'll find gorgeous homes that are open and bright, with quartz counters, eco-friendly flooring, designer lighting the whole nine. You'll find the amenities package to be on point, too, with cool features like the market's first virtual reality gaming room, and on-demand classes in the club-quality fitness studio. But it's the rooftop deck that's the true stunner, offering jaw-dropping views of Mt. Hood and East Portland. We're proud to say that in this notably bike- and pedestrian-friendly city, Modera Belmont delivers a seriously prime location.

"I've lived in this neigborhood for over 20 years, both my children went to Buckman an amazing art magnet primary school. People are friendly and it is a safe urban neighborhood. Plus now there are many great places to eat and shop."

"We’ve owned our home for 29 years, raised our 4 children, and now have 9 grandchildren who all went to Buckman school. The neighborhood is extremely walkable, close to freeway access in all directions if needed, neighbors are all friendly and willing to lend a helping hand, walking our pup is like happy hour for dogs, walk or ride s bike to downtown Portland, a multitude of restaurants, bars, bakeries, banks, post office, laurelhurst park, bike routes. I feel proud and fortunate to live in this neighborhood."

"It has a lot of beautiful homes and streets and trees. Used to be quirkier and now is pretty hip. Very safe. "

"I'm on a first name basis with the staff at our corner store, the checkers at our grocery store, and my favorite bartenders. There are still food carts and downtown is walking distance. Also, there's an abandoned hole in the ground nextdoor that's hopefully keeping the rent down."
