"it's a pretty safe neighborhood. not too much to worry about. some shady people hang around the Safeway but they mostly keep to themselves"

"The dogs I’ve seen are all pretty friendly. Haven’t seen any dog confrontations while out for a walk."

"It’s a neighborhood filled with retirement folks. There’s a nearby golf course. There’s not a lot of children in the neighborhood that I’ve seen but there are some very close schools that aren’t too bad. "

"it's not too crowded. people are mostly friendly. these neighborhoods haven't become so over populated like some of the surrounding areas. It's pretty quiet out here for the most part. There are plenty of things to do around here. "

"Older homes and classic neighborhood feel. It isn’t great with public transit access or with pedestrians."
- Katherine M. M.

"Close to Lakewood and steilacoom amenities. Nicer homes. Neighbors are quiet. Yards are fairly kept up. "

"There aren’t sidewalks for kids to walk safely on the sides of the roads so its good to implement a sense of alertness (although most drivers are very cautious and drive below the speed limit)"
- Catherine T.

"All by personal vehicle although I’d prefer public transit; it’s just too far of a walk for a limited route. A bit far from the freeway so if you don’t work nearby, plan to add about 10-15 min just getting to I-5"

"Ok amenities. Neighborhood seems to be let go by homeowners. No pride of ownership and quite a few renters I imagine. "

"I have lived in this area for almost 7 years and absolutely love it!! Business and bus stops are close, and Fort Steilacoom park is conveniently near by. "

"There’s no sidewalk, lots of wildlife and deer and raccoons. It’s safe, just don’t leave your small animals out while you’re not home and walk in the street going the opposite way to avoid traffic "
