What Locals Say about Northwest Torrance

  • Trulia User
"I have lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and seen many changes. Older homes are being torn down and replaced by two on A Lot. I don’t think there’s one house in the neighborhood that sells for less than $800,000. The area is very walkable to grocery stores, retail outlets, a lovely park, and public transportation. The neighborhood is very dog, friendly, but other than that very few neighbors know each other there are no community events "

"Torrance is a great city to call home. The city is overall maintained very well, with responsive local government, active neighborhood councils and excellent swift responding police and fire departments. The schools here are highly rated. I’m so happy to be able to be close to the city and beaches and live in a great suburban town. "
