"This neighborhood has always been trouble since I was a child over 40 years ago. I would not suggest this as an environment to raise an animal let alone a family. What's "Unique" about the neighborhood is that the streets are some of the worst ones in the city as far as potholes are concerned. Furthermore my cousin was murdered and found dead in a garbage can less than 2 years ago and the suspect hasn't been charged in her murder but is in jail for another murder."

"There aren’t many community events. Some things happen at Jackson park, the arts bank, and Dorchester artist housing. "

"The close Proximity to Lake Michigan makes the neighborhood appealing. I also love the South Side YMCA as a place for kids to play and for parents to achieve fitness goals."
