"Gregory Gardens has a small town feel despite being so close to some of the largest cities in the country. People walk their dogs, kids ride their bikes to school, and most people keep up their homes so that the neighborhood still looks nice. There are a ton of older trees, which gives the neighborhood a natural vibe. "

"I work in the area - able to walk to work. There is public transit very close to me if I need to go anywhere in the bay area. However, the busses do not run the same as in Alameda and San Francisco Counties. They are far and few between with no buses on Sundays. I used to commute to South San Francisco near the Airport and that was a terrible experience on most days."

"feels safe, low crime. great place to raise a family with a great school system. good people overwhelmingly as neighbors. never had any issues with crime or theft. only downside is home prices have been climbing steadily for the last 10 years. great if you own not so great if you rent. The neighborhoods are turning over now and all getting upgraded the city takes care of its roads better than most and the new downtown area is nice."

College park HS has many football games to go to, and the community center has many events as well. One just has to look and get connected, as around and read the flyers. Sign up for emails. Get involved in the community! Volunteer. Join in on the fun! "
