Heyer Elementary School

Love the teachers, staff and principal! Everyone is treated well and they truly care for all the families. Our kids have done well academically and we loved the schools academic program. High recommend the area. Small town urban subdivision and lots of kids in the area. Great place to live!

The community, teachers, principal and families make this a wonderful, positive, high achieving school to attend. We wouldn’t send our kid to any other Waukesha elementary, this school seems like a diamond in Waukesha and we have been thrilled with the communication home from teachers and administration. So happy with this school and we have only great things to say. Way to go teachers and admin!

i went to this school from 2nd to 4th grade and experienced a lot of bullying. the teachers and staff did nothing about it and just told us we were overreacting.my sister was also bullied and it left a lot of bad impact on her and she now deals with serious mental health issues due to bullying,etc. fights are a normal thing and happen very often.a girl in my class tried to hit us with bats. the teachers didn’t talk about it the next day at all. nobody takes there job seriously and the old principal was a bully herself.i hated going to this school and would have breakdowns every once in the morning before school.the teachers would tell us to not be bystanders to bullying and to step in and stop the bullying. the teachers needed to hear hat more than the students. the kids in the school can be very mean and i’ll admit i was mean to. but the teachers didn’t care so we did whatever we wanted to do.this isn’t a school where you get a education. don’t send your kids here it is horrible for anyone’s mental health. they need to get new staff and teachers who actually care for the children.

This school needs new administration and updated policies on social emotional support for kids struggling. The school more than tolerates bullying and isolation of peers. There is no application of actual Catholic values with in the school and the majority of school families.

Trinity Lutheran School has been a wonderful place for our family. The teachers truly know the students and care about them as whole people, not just as learners. I love that my students are able to see their teachers in worship on Sunday and at our church/school events.At this time, I don't think Trinity has the resources to handle students with extreme special needs. It's just too small. However, the size can be a blessing for some families because it is easy to feel connected if you get involved. In the classroom, my children are encouraged and known by name and truly feels loved by his teachers.
