Posted by a parent on 3/16/2016This School has alot of potential, in recent years my son has told me that the middle school math teacher has been putting him down lately. He will come home pretty upset not understanding the math that is taught to him. He says it's the way taught to him.
Posted by a community member on 10/23/2013I have two kids who are attending St Matthew and the teachers are wonderful; could not ask for better Love the student-teacher ratio. Office staff could be a little more engaged with the parents and could improve communication with the activities throughtout the year, but overall a good school.

Our son has been a student at Carollton for the past couple years and we highly recommend their Kindergarten, 1st grade teachers, and school Staff. We were very surprised & impressed on how involved everyone is concerning the well being of our son and his classmates. Though not everyone's experience may be the same, I just had to comment because all of the people we have had the pleasure of meeting at this school, from the Principle to the Lunch Staff, have treated my family with much respect and genuine compassion for being educators and role models. This sentiment is also felt by our friends and neighbors whose children continue to attend and graduate Carollton. The good teachers go above and beyond the call of duty and truly care about their students. The other half just do the bare minimum and have little communication with the parents.
