6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would highly recommend Madison Elementary School! Madison Elementary is the most diverse school in the Wauwatosa School district. The school exhibits a positive community experience where all students are part of the school. Teachers are very caring, dedicated, and professional.Parent Review3y ago3 Reviews - Craig Montessori School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA few great teachers like Mrs Christine and the Gym teacher Mr Wensel. The principal Ms Tooks is so unprofessional. She does not respond to emails.. She lies to parents and I disliked the school even more because of her lack of professionalism she really needs to go. Glad I got my three star kiddos out they absolutely deserved better. MPS need to do better with who they have in charge. Just unacceptable.Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Milwaukee German Immersion School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am extremely disappointed in Engleburg Elementary (MPS) for not allowing my cousin to participate in his graduation ceremony. This wasn’t just a missed event—this was a once-in-a-lifetime moment taken away. A core memory, something every child looks forward to after years of effort, was denied. And for what?Boys of color are already the most misrepresented, misled, and misunderstood in Milwaukee. In a district that claims to be inclusive and student-centered, this decision felt like punishment—not guidance, not support. What makes it even more disheartening is that while other MPS schools celebrate their students with full ceremonies and cap-and-gown traditions, Engleburg doesn’t even provide those. Our kids already get less—and now they’re being told they don’t deserve to be seen at all. This isn’t about policy—it’s about respect. About making sure our children feel valued at a time when the world already tries to dim their light.Other Review1y ago2 Reviews - Grantosa Drive School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately, my experience with Grantosa Middle School has been extremely disappointing. My children have faced repeated humiliation and mistreatment while attending this school, simply for being themselves. It has felt as though there are established cliques among the students, making it especially difficult for new students to feel welcomed or accepted. In my experience, the administration often seems to side with students who have been attending the school longer rather than fairly addressing the concerns of new students and their families. Sending my children to this school in the middle of the year is something I now deeply regret due to the negative experiences they have faced.Despite multiple concerns being raised, the principal failed to take proper accountability or take effective action to address ongoing conflicts and bullying involving certain students. These unresolved issues eventually escalated into a serious and violent incident in which my daughter was physically attacked by five students, with parents reportedly becoming involved and encouraging or assisting in the altercation. No parent should ever have to fear for their child’s safety while at school. In addition to the safety concerns, the quality of education has suffered greatly. My child’s classroom has frequently been without a permanent teacher and is often led by substitutes, causing major disruptions in learning and consistency. To make matters worse, security is rarely present or nowhere to be found during critical situations when immediate intervention is needed most. The lack of visible and reliable security has only added to the unsafe environment and allowed incidents to escalate unnecessarily.Overall, this school has failed to provide a safe, supportive, and stable learning environment for my children. I would not recommend this school to any parent who values their child’s education, safety, and well-being.”Parent Review2mo ago7 Reviews - Ninety-Fifth Street School
