Read what parents are saying about Randall Elementary Schoolexcellent...I am trying to recall the name of my female 6th grade teacher from 1954
Posted by a community member on 12/21/2018A review cannot encompass what an outstanding school Randall Elementary is. Our daughter, a somewhat shy child, has thrived both academically and socially at Randall. Academics are extremely strong with high standards, but also a fostering a love of learning in students. Wonderful in school art, music (and Mr. Water's football) programs. With the help of a strong PTO there are often free Saturday (or low cost after school) events that focus on Math, Science, Art, Languages. One of the most impressive aspects of Randall is the atmosphere of community and inclusivity the students have toward the school. We (including our daughter) are so thankful for her elementary education here. Outstanding.
Posted by a parent on 1/30/2015I love this school. Kindergarden it took my son some getting used to the rules and expectations, but now in 2nd grade his experience is the best yet. I only expect it to get better each year! My son is ADHD and the teachers are fantastic with him.
Posted by a parent on 10/29/2012It is gratifying to see that parents and teachers appreciate Randall Elementary -- I know that when I graduated high school in the 80's, I could point out all the kids with whom I went to Randall. I can still remember the great teachers I had then.
Posted by a community member on 7/15/2012As a Randall teacher, I am proud to be a member of this community. The staff communicates and collaborates to help each child grow as a whole child. The principal gives the teachers the freedom, support and structure to be successful as professionals. The parents are involved and caring. Communication between parents, staff and students is open and trusting.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn regard to the bussing: unfortunately our city's neighborhoods are very segregated, and more unfortunately, we use our schools to try to help rectify that issue. We were more interested in making sure that our children learn in a rich, diverse environment, and with the excellent teachers and leadership at Midvale, our children (one is a top honor student, one is a National Merit Scholar) received a great education that met their needs. My children often thank us for making sure they were educated in a diverse environment - they see their college peers struggle in a real-world setting. I sat on a bus for an hour as a kindergartener through winding country roads and highways, so a 15 minute ride seems insignificant in comparison to the social rewards. Lincoln school - the partner school - is in a fine neighborhood, it's just different. I encourage any prospective parent in either neighborhood to see for themselves, both schools welcome parents of prospective students, and teachers and parents are more than willing to answer questions. Once a Mustang, always a Mustang!Parent Review1y ago - Shorewood Hills Elementary School
