Read what parents are saying about Gray Middle SchoolThis school is bad don't let any other review tell you other wise. I was a student there for one year and halfway through the year i already wanted to leave the place. These reviews need to be centered on the student's thoughts not a parents or a staff 's.Most of the students here are very irresponsible and care more about being cool, hanging out with there friends, and drama instead of doing any kind of work. Most students don't even pay attention to the teachers. The things the kinds say to each other are horrible. A student can not go any were in the school without hearing some bad language or hurtful comments to them or another student. The teachers are professional in what they do. There are some that stick out like a sore thumb that almost seem like they don't know what there doing and messed up constantly. One teacher punished my entire class for something a few people did, another after school for almost 4 minutes and i almost missed my bus and i didn't do anything! The sports programs are something i didn't join, but i know were good due to my classmate's thoughts about them. After-school programs i have no idea about. I hope everyone at this school reads this.My Initial CV
Posted by a community member on 7/2/2013This school is great but some of the teachers are kinda mean but they all do their job. We get judged and looked down on by other schools but we are great. I recommend this school to anyone

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal, counselor, teachers can’t be bothered to help resolve issues with bullies pushing and punching your child. They do not return your calls. Principal emailed us stating the counselor would call us. No call ever came. They just pass it off to the next person with no resolution. This is not a safe place for your child to attend school. Wish I could give a negative star review, if any school deserves it, it’s this oneParent Review5mo ago - Arlington

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey literally have students assaulting and spitting on each other and repeatedly refuse to document it or notify parents. I understand that the public school system as a whole is broken but the admins here genuinely do not care for the safety and wellbeing of the children in their care.Other Review1y ago - Edison

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat, the school focus on academics is wonderful and structure helps the whole school stay on task! A bit of a grey area when it comes to discipline but I think they are doing their best considering the 75% of the entire school being LOW INCOME families..... they have a before and after school program that is used to watch those kids who dont have a safe place to go after school tooThe parent and teacher communication could be a bit better. Maybe have a once a month night meeting for ALL STAFF to come to and talk about issues together and hopefully the communication can help the way they displine and teach all our children as a whole... at HOME and at SCHOOL It takes a village and the villagers need to communicateParent Review4y ago - Hope School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter attended here for2 years. The first year was as a school, the 2nd was 2020, so daycare. I loved the diversity among the students and the caring attitude of the staff. She learned a lot the year she was a student and we were pleased.Parent Review2y ago
