As a former student who has ADHD I didn’t have a good experience all the staff besides two members were horrible and I had to move but that was in like 2011 and 2012 and they have gotten a bit better but the same horrible principle is still there

Our daughter really enjoyed this school. She went there with pleasure. We are a family that came from Ukraine. My daughter did not speak English at all. Thanks to the teachers, and especially the kindergarten teacher Miss Kuzel and her assistants, our daughter is now fluent in English. She was able to catch up with her peers in her studies and graduated from kindergarten with good results. Teacher feedback is a separate respect. Miss Kuzel is very attentive and caring. I am very grateful to the teachers and office workers for the work done.

My son is about to graduate 5th grade and I have to admit I will really miss Wilson, the teachers, parents and the entire community. I have always helped to volunteer as I really feel that my son has received a private school education. My son has benefited from K-5 with the best support structure, a wonderful PTA, fantastic teachers, and tons of activities. I have always felt so safe leaving my son here and he has never once tried to weasel out of going to school in the morning. That really says a lot, as I know when I was a kid, I would think of anything for a day off :) I am originally from NYC and we are somewhat known for a blunt honesty. I could not recommend Wilson Elementary more. Everyone looks out for everyone, it is a real family environment where your child will flourish

We chose Cataldo Catholic School expecting a school that would uphold traditional Catholic values and provide strong communication with families. Unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing. The school’s approach to gender expression and uniform standards has not reflected the traditional Catholic teachings we expected when enrolling our child, and it has created confusion and academic distraction for our young son. It has also made us question the purpose of having uniforms if basic standards are not consistently enforced.In addition, communication from teachers regarding our son’s progress has been minimal, and interactions at drop-off and pick-up often feel rushed and dismissive. For nearly $9,000 per year in tuition, we expected far more partnership, guidance, and accountability. Sadly, we do not feel the experience has been worth the investment

As someone who attended this school for 7 years, I can say that if you want your child to grow up to be a self sufficient and independent teenager/adult, this school is great. This school shaped the person I am today and I firmly believe that if I had gone to a different school I would not have been as successful as I am. One of My main criticism for this is school is the ratio of students to teacher (30-1 in my experience) because at times is definitely limited how much individual attention and aid you could get from your teachers. I guess you could also see the positives in that as it can teach you to use critical thinking and solve your own issues, but it can be challenging if you are not that kind of person. While at times I did not love attending this school, I think in the long run it really will help your child become a self motivated and open minded person.
