Our teacher has 20 years of experience and works closely with working families to ensure and concerns at home are addressed in the classroom as well. Lack of diversity is our only complaint.

The Quest program is strong and engaging — my kids are learning real math depth while still having fun.The building is new and clean, and communication from leadership is consistent and clear. Teachers genuinely seem happy to be there and often refer to each other as the “Sunrise family,” which reflects the positive culture.The music program for 5th and 6th graders is well supported, with options for choir, orchestra, or band. The art program is also a highlight. Extraordinarily limited in terms of ability to contact, only by phone and only during office hours. School leadership, principal(s), need greater structure and guidance. Unsure of who or which parties actually make decisions that affect the whole, however experiences over multiple years have repeatedly validated impression that parent(s) either agree or are considered trouble makers and not just disregarded but gossiped about by top school administrators and staff. Leadership intolerant of different points of views, and inflexible towards working single parents. Quite frankly it is below the professional standards for educators to treat a student differently because you don't "like" the parent.
