First, this school's teachers are absolutely amazing! Our kids went here for 5 years and didn't have a bad one in the bunch. That being said, last year we left and quite frankly we were one of many families we know who did. They are the reason for 2 stars not 1. I couldn't do that to them. There is
Posted by a parent on 12/30/2021Maplewood is amazing! From the principal to the teachers and other staff it feels like a family. They care about every single kid and they seem to all know almost every kid that attends school here.
Posted by a parent on 9/20/2020My daughter is an in-district transfer and it seems that more than 50% of Maplewood students are. That says a lot for the school since they don't provide transportation. We have enjoyed our years there.

He was so excited to start school and right out of the gate, he was meant with violence and inattention. He spent kindergarten there and part of first grade until I was approached by the school nurse (not his teacher who I spoke to) about how he needs to see a doctor for his attention span.Fast forward 1 MONTH and he's testing at a 3rd grade level for math and on track in every other subject in 1st grade.Shame on you Karshner. And also, thanks for throwing away his school supplies that I arranged to be picked up (because that was a long time ago. December! It's February 5th! My Daughter does a few extra curricular activities after school that are superb and only offered at Wildwood because of the awesome staff.
