Basic Steps Academy

Star Lake Elementary has provided a safe learning environment for my children. I have two scholars that attend this school and I've always had positive interactions with their teachers. The admin are fair and super involved. You can tell that admin and staff care for the students and are very involved in helping each student succeed.

My daughter really enjoys going to this school. The schools teaching okay if I would improve something about the school then I would probably improve the teaching and explaining when learning new things like maybe explaining the lesson more clearly so it doesn’t leave students confused because sometimes my daughter is confused about what to do on assignments. The fun in this school is really good they always appreciate the students hard work. This school is really nice definitely recommend. Sorry if my English is not the best.

We have been at Holy Trinity Lutheran School for four years now and as our oldest moves towards graduation he has been reflecting on all the memories made during his time there. There is a palpable genuine quality in how the teachers share Christ's teaching in an applicable way that was relatable for my son. He didn't always appreciate the time allowed for devotion, but now sees the value and importance of it as he moves forward to high school. Your child will be seen and known. The principal greets each child by name every morning and calls for them at pick up. The class sizes are small and the teachers are passionate and playful in our experience. There are robust athletic opportunities and music. We highly recommend Holy Trinity Lutheran School and are forever grateful how Christ is integrated into their daily studies, and how our son's heart has been moved in authentic ways by the guides and teachers that are at this school. I hope this review is helpful for any families seeking a Christ centered education for their children.
