I love the teachers at this school and have found them to be knowledgeable, creative, and flexible in their approach to teaching. They genuinely care about their students and want the best for them. I wish I could say the same for the administrators. Unfortunately we are one of many families who hav
Posted by a parent on 9/30/2026If your child is autistic or has learning disabilities I’d recommend switching schools immediately. It doesn’t matter if you have documentation from outside physicians, therapists, or tutors, your child with a learning disability WILL be made to feel like they’re a problem. If you suspect your child
Posted by a parent on 9/30/2026I have 3 kids attend Seattle Hill Elementary, I’m on my 7th year with kids at this school. At the time of this review, my kids just completed in seventh grade, 4th grade and kindergarten. Both my kids currently at the school have accommodations and one is on an IEP. I’ve had the full support of the
Posted by a parent on 7/1/2025The teachers at this school are absolutely amazing. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with both of my boys' teachers throughout their elementary school experience. I am proud to be a part of this school community.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat happened to this school lately? It's like a population explosion. Parking and pickup is horrible right now (2026). The Lighthouse program has fallen apart and lost many members. I have also seen where kids would have been expelled from school in my day, but are just given a talking-to now and still corrupt this school.Parent Review6mo ago - Monroe Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile the school has a positive reputation, I have been disappointed by how it handles active and competitive children, especially boys. Rather than teaching safe play, sportsmanship, and healthy competition, the school often seems to restrict activities and remove opportunities for kids to be energetic.I believe children should be encouraged to develop their strengths, learn how to compete respectfully, and be recognized when they excel. My concern is that the school focuses too much on keeping everyone the same instead of helping each child grow individually.I also feel boys are often treated as problems when they are simply being active or competitive. From my perspective, there is not enough balance in how boys and girls are supported.Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school for families who value active play, competition, individual achievement, and a more balanced approach to discipline and development.Parent Review4mo ago - Cedar Wood Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will never recommend this school compare with other schools in Everett school district. One of 5th grade teacher join from other school where she was principal and disappeared from that school without any notice or explanation to parents. She is trying to run this school with racism between some favorite students and other students. She doesn’t come from empathy background and always try to find mistakes from other kids.Parent Review11mo ago
