Great school, great academic programs, athletic programs, CTE programs. School competes at the high school level in robotics. One of the best middle schools in the state of Washington.
Posted by a parent on 11/25/2025Dr. Wilnic Gedeon is an excellent Principal! He has won Principal of the year in Florida. He cares about his staff and the students. It’s rare to find a leader like him that is desperately needed in all schools across the nation.

There is ample opportunity to have your child enrolled in quality classes and activities with good and dedicated teachers. Most of the parents are very engaged but as in any school there are parents who don't care and students who wish to cause disruption. T
Posted by a parent on 10/2/2025The school has constant problems with bullying and racial discrimination. The staff only care about themselves and not the kids. My friend was bullied and harassed by a group of girls and reported it multiple times, but the staff never did anything. I do not recommend this school for kids.

Additionally, the upcoming Dual Language Spanish Immersion Program is an exciting opportunity for students to become bilingual by 5th grade, enhancing their cognitive and cultural skills.The PTA is incredibly active, organizing events like the Fall Festival, Silent Auction, and Teacher Appreciation Week, which foster a strong sense of community and support for the school. My son attended from K-12 and the school failed him. I was unable to remove him because his mom works for the school and the school forbids employees from having their kids in public education.
