Having seen my now Junior thrive in public school, I am confident that SMM has prepared my kids with a strong and solid foundation to be successful in HS and beyond

You have no say in your child teacher even if there is an issue with the current teacher. They lie and say they have said things to you when they haven't. I would strongly recommend your child going to a different school if you have an option. Myself my daughter bestie and another child this year that I know of are being pulled from this school. As a student I wasn't the strongest in some subjects, but every teacher allowed one on one time to make sure I got caught up. That helped tremendously because I went on to mostly honors classes in High School.
