Posted by a community member on 9/11/2023I’ve had three children attend AJ. There are many dedicated, hard working and caring teachers at this school. Staff works to provide enrichment opportunities to their students and always greet students with smiles and words of encouragement. The office staff is friendly and helpful too.

Dr. Steiner has been doing a fantastic job of making the school a fun and engaging place for kids to learn. The new principal does not have any authority and is not as involved with the children as Mr. Kroll. In addition to the teachers now "running" the school good help those children. In my honest and humble opinion, the teachers have turned into absolute bullies. This poor guy is letting them run that school into the ground. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Child has told me all year long that nothing new is being taught that she didn't already learn from her old school. Throughout the year my child has been the victim of bullying and harassment. The school is full of children that are out of control and disrespectful and teachers that can't be bothered. Constantly I've been informed of swearing from Teacher's/aids/ substitutes directed at the students. Overall, just disappointed and missing the school my child was enrolled in before we had to move here.
