Posted by a student on 6/14/2026This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an educational institution. Parents, if you can avoid it don’t enroll your children into Eastside Middle AKA Bayside middle school. It’s really gives the Great city of Virginia Beach a bad rap. #unprofessional #Disgusting #AWaste.

Posted by a student on 2/7/2025Bayside Middle School is not as bad of a middle school as others make it out to be. Although, it is by no means great. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has attended 1st & 2nd grade here so far. Very impressed with this school. We’re military so we move a lot, I’ve seen some bad schools and some great schools. Luxford is great. They communicate, have family events, safety is taken seriously, my daughter is excelling academically.Parent Review1y ago - Newtown Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy relative was not treated right and cried daily over teachers and staff. He/she felt their voice wasn't heard and teachers held long grudges. They would get glared at constantly by staff. They expect high expectations and when you don't meet the requirements you are judged. There is very clear favoritism.
