Love the front staff, the nurse, and the counselors! Have never had one issue.

Great teachers and the staff is very helpful. If you're looking for the best elementary school in Norfolk Camp Allen is the top 3. You're never going to find that "perfect " school because every school has flaws . I've never had a problem with my kids going here. There is help at the school for all types of Problems you may have. You just have to speak up and ask for help. Respect goes a long way. I personally will never change the decision to send my kiddos here.

I go to this school and they have mean teachers and staffs. Their PE teacher is very disrespectful and is always yelling at students fr how they dress and what they wear.They take children's phones and don't give them back.Their techers are really disrespectful and its horrible

Overall, just an average school. I think it could be a great school if the class sizes were smaller and the teachers not so overwhelmed. Administratively there should be some improvement too.

This is the absolute worse school I have ever put my kids in. They were quickly disenrolled. All staff from the principal on down are unprofessional and do not care. The school is old, dirty and rundown. For it to be an elementary school they show no excitement, there's no decorum and no motivation. The teachers are uneducated. My kindergartner has a teacher assistant for a teacher. My 5th grader was bullied on and harassed by his teacher. My child was let out of the school by himself with no parent or adult present. They need to close this school down.

The staff here is amazing. They take the time to know every student and are fully engaged. Only bad thing about this school this year is the new principle. She has no interest in learning the students or engaging the community l. If anything, she has pushed the community out of the school. He lack of respect for the staff is seen by not just staff but the parents as well. The morale has sunk since she stepped in this year and less parents and children are showing up to events due to her and the lack of care she shows. We would do anything for Mr. Swann to return or even make Mr. Graham the actual principal. Our children and staff need better leadership to bring this school back to where it has been....GREAT!

I absolutely live OVCA! We are going into our 3rd school year, and it's been amazing. We removed our daughter from Portsmouth public due to issues and it was a blessing to find OVCA. The staff is amazing. And my daughter loves the school, students, and staff. I am glad that my daughter is in a safe environment where she can learn and thrive. Not only does she get a great education, but the foundation of God and the importance of caring for others. She has blossom so much.

My daughter has attended this school for two years now and she has grown and learned so much since attending. It’s clear that the teachers and director put a lot of time and love into educating their students.
