This is the absolute worse school I have ever put my kids in. They were quickly disenrolled. All staff from the principal on down are unprofessional and do not care. The school is old, dirty and rundown. For it to be an elementary school they show no excitement, there's no decorum and no motivation.

She has no interest in learning the students or engaging the community l. If anything, she has pushed the community out of the school. He lack of respect for the staff is seen by not just staff but the parents as well. The morale has sunk since she stepped in this year and less parents and children are showing up to events due to her and the lack of care she shows. We would do anything for Mr. Swann to return or even make Mr. Graham the actual principal. We removed our daughter from Portsmouth public due to issues and it was a blessing to find OVCA. The staff is amazing. And my daughter loves the school, students, and staff. I am glad that my daughter is in a safe environment where she can learn and thrive. Not only does she get a great education, but the foundation of God and the importance of caring for others.
