I used to go to this school last year was 2019 can someone help me find the yearbook

My child thrives at this school. The Principal and her admin team are amazing. Very engaged and active PTA. The AAP is excellent.

This school is 90 procent plus latino - per state scores only 15 percent of them pass English; 24 procent pass math in 3 grade. Schools focus is on those kids to pass accreditation which they are at risk of losing. They had my kid from k to 2 grade and he couldn't spell his last name or add to 20 properly because this school just do not care. Absolute garbage

Mi hijo ha estudiado en esta escuela desde el pre-escolar y está por terminar su 6o año allí. Siempre hemos contado con maravillosos maestros y los 2 directores que he conocido han sido bastante humanos y atentos a las necesidades/retos y aprendizaje de mi hijo. El necesitó IEP de pequeño y fue el mejor lugar y los mejores maestros para ayudarle a mejorar. Muchas gracias por eso! Mi hijo disfruta mucho matemáticas y creo que no pudo tener un mejor maestro este año como el que tiene para terminar su escuela primaria y junto a sus mejores amigos en clase! Gracias a cada persona que trabaja allí, han hecho que la experiencia en la escuela sea muy buena para mi hijo y mi familia.

We've been a part of the Congressional School community for 8 years - from the infant and toddler program into middle school. At each new year, my children are proud of their school, feel deeply supported by their teachers, coaches, and administrators, and are thriving academically and socially.

Wonderful, or wonderfully rigid? I’m still trying to figure it out. The school earns real praise for its rare and admirable emphasis on arts and literature—an anchor of intellectual seriousness that’s increasingly hard to find. There’s also a strong sense of multigenerational loyalty among families, which speaks to a deep-rooted community and shared values. But those values come wrapped in a top-down culture of discipline and rigor that can feel excessive. Quoting Aristotle’s “excellence is a habit,” the head of school enforces a system where even small infractions—like my child being sanctioned for not having a pencil—lead to redirections that replace study hall time with busy work. With the school assigning a significant volume of homework, losing that time becomes more than a minor inconvenience—it’s a meaningful burden. Teachers sometimes show quiet discomfort with the rigidity, but the posture is deliberate and firmly held. The school also tends to eschew textbooks, which hampers clarity and structure in subjects like science and math. There’s genuine intellectual value here, but little room for feedback or adjustment. For some families, the structure will be a perfect fit. For others, it may feel like a narrow road—well-paved, well-meaning, and exhausting.
