Sleepy Hollow Elementary School

Sleepy Hollow is a warm, caring and nurturing school that also strives for and achieves academic excellence. Teachers and leadership are exceedingly dedicated. Excellent math instruction with two math coaches and a new AAP center. It will be very hard to leave this school and I highly recommend SHES.

Our children are having a wonderful experience at this elementary school. It is a very nurturing and warm community. The teachers are great and and there are so many enriching opportunities afforded to the students each day. We are very pleased to be a part of the SHES family! Great school for my son. Both Kindergarten and first grade teachers have been great. The only negative critique is that there have not been a lot of activities to bring parents and kids across the cultural divide within the school. The school tries, but tough to find activities the different parents would partake is tough. this is the only reason I did not rate it as a five.

Sleepy Hollow ES is an exceptional neighborhood school. The administration and faculty truly care about the educational growth and character of every student who walks through the door. In a world of constant change they recognize what is necessary to allow our children to soar to their greatest heights. Through intervention and enrichment they are raising the bar for every child and cheering them on all the way. Sleepy Hollow ES is a caring community, devoted to the hard work it takes to meet every need of a child in order for them to meet their highest potential. I'm proud to have my children attend such a school.
