They basically handed me a letter telling me I was being kicked out or being charged $10,000 to finish my senior year! They forced me out of a comfortable environment, despite the fact that I was a straight A student and we'll behaved. I

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe TA's (teaching assistants) nurses office, cafeteria staff and even janitorial truly care about the kids but the teacher and the administration are absolutely terrible in dealing with the students. As you can see by the fact that the school is performing in the bottom 20% in the state and the bottom 15% in the country. Spending 20K per student and getting these results should have parents with pitchforks showing up at the school board but the school board and the supervisors just let half of the schools in this county be dumpsters while the rich kids in the Crozet area, like Brownsville and and at Western Albemarle High School get the Taj Mahal schools my kids are bused from way south to go to this hellhole of a school. The community there is wonderful, the teachers are caring and excellent, the culture is supportive and kind. I had many friends who sent their kids to private schools, and I believe my children received a better education at Johnson Elementary than they would have at any area private school. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went there from 1st to 4th (2013- 2017) and it was so amazing and all of the teachers were so friendly and kind. It was overall just a fantastic experience for me and all of my friends. I would tell everyone I know to out their kids at Jackson-via any day of the week.
