Posted by a parent on 7/12/2017Very high quality of both academic and performing arts education. Great place for students, faculty and administrators are thoroughly engaged.
Posted by a parent on 6/13/2016If your child is interested in the Performing Arts as a career (or just really really enjoys them), this is the place. Your child will get college level performing arts electives in high school by instructors who are in the business. Excellent, excellent, excellent! There is a reason it was voted best Charter School in Utah. And because it is a Charter School, there is no tuition.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended this school K-6, and grades 4-6 were awful. The newer principal is so oblivious to the amount of disrespect and bullying coming from the teachers. Fighting and bullying between students are tolerated without consequence.Parent Review1y ago - Rosecrest School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur 3rd grade daughter has been going to Redeemer for 3 years now. She is so happy here. All the teachers and staff are top of the line.Having the smaller class sizes is a major plus. If my daughter has a question or needs help on something, she is not ignored. The teachers are able to be with them one on one whenever needed. All of the parents and families we have met through the schoolare great too! Really nice people. Putting our daughter in this school was probably one of the best decisions we have ever made. We have no complaints. Its amazing how fast our Mila Bear learning and advancing here. it is kind of nice to have a kid that is excited to go to school everyday. Thanks again Redeemer! N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved from Texas in 2019 leaving a school system with Master Degree teachers, exceptional Reading Recovery for our child with dyslexia, lower than average student teacher ratios. We toured the Salt Lake public school system and recognized the challenges and short comings our kids would face. After visiting all of the private institutions within a 15 mile radius we landed on Carden. Fell in love on the tour and have never been disappointed. Outstanding teachers, classical education, small student teacher ratio, our kids have developed deep and healthy relationships with their peers and faculty, there is a focus on character, values, integrity, respect, faith, history, good literature, classical music, performing/speaking and developing their unique gifts. They have learned to ski, attend high adventures river rafting and camping in Yellowston, participating in a two week American History Tour of Washington DC and the surrounding states. Our first has matriculated to high school and began as a freshman in sophomore honors math. One area of opportunity would be science curriculum. In addition, in Texas we had dedicated reading recovery staff as a core resource, here we have had to pay out of pocket for a specialist who has been amazing. Could not ask for a better educational foundation to prepare children for success in academics and life.Parent Review1mo ago - Montessori Community School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at Elizabeth Academy for three years (3rd-5th) and have had an outstanding experience. The entire team works incredibly hard to create an interesting experience for the kids that engaging them in ways that speaks to their learning styles and interests. The school has lots of fun classes, outings, field trips too. Our absolute favorite part of school is in the teachers. We were able to keep in close touch with the teachers through the three years we were there about any number of issues (social-emotional, learning) and were able to establish the dialogue that allowed us to feel like partners with the teachers.Parent Review1y ago - Elizabeth Academy
