Read what parents are saying about Redeemer Lutheran SchoolOur 3rd grade daughter has been going to Redeemer for 3 years now. She is so happy here. All the teachers and staff are top of the line.Having the smaller class sizes is a major plus. If my daughter has a question or needs help on something, she is not ignored. The teachers are able to be with them one on one whenever needed. All of the parents and families we have met through the schoolare great too! Really nice people. Putting our daughter in this school was probably one of the best decisions we have ever made. We have no complaints. Its amazing how fast our Mila Bear learning and advancing here. it is kind of nice to have a kid that is excited to go to school everyday. Thanks again Redeemer! Go Bulldogs!
Posted by a parent on 5/11/2023My children and family have had an excellent experience at this school. Learning is focused on the basics, reading, writing, arithmetic, and science. My children also enjoy learning Latin, and participating in music and PE. The class sizes are small which allows my children to receive one on one teaching every day. The communication between staff and parents is excellent. I always feel like my concerns and opinions are valued and addressed as needed. The school provides several family functions throughout the year allowing families to gather and socialize. Our family especially enjoys the Christmas music program and the school musical. We also feel the school supports values that we are already teaching our children at home. We would highly recommend this school to anyone look for K-8 instruction.
Posted by a parent on 11/16/2022Redeemer Lutheran School is amazing. The staff has done a wonderful job with our two grandchildren, and have gone far out of their way to ensure our children get whatever they need. The teachers are very patient and kind, but fair and consistent with the rules. I have no reservations about this school at all. It is such a relief to have such trust in a school. The small classroom size makes it possible for more one on one attention as needed, and the communication is very good. I never have to wonder about what is going on, as I can just email, text, or call with any questions. The teachers and other staff are very courteous and responsive, and they follow through with all of our questions and requests in a very timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anyone. In fact, I HIGHLY recommend this school.
Posted by a parent on 3/10/2022Redeemer has been an incredible school for both of our girls! Our eldest has gone there since Kindergarten and our youngest since she was an infant. Joni has been a tremendous help with getting SLC school district
Posted by a parent on 3/10/2022My Kindergarten loves this school and her teacher! It was important for me to find a place for her to learn and thrive but also a place where she can be herself.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended this school K-6, and grades 4-6 were awful. The newer principal is so oblivious to the amount of disrespect and bullying coming from the teachers. Fighting and bullying between students are tolerated without consequence.Parent Review1y ago - Nibley Park School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't think there's even a rate to give. this school needs to be investigated, and shut down. it makes me wonder what the H*** is possibly going on during recess, lunch, and gym hours and are these teachers high that they just don't care enough to deal with the bullying situations. why not send letters home to parents to remind their children bullying is not acceptable or tolerated anywhere in this world and consequensences such as getting suspended from school until parents sign a form and are aware their child is victimizing other students. if I were to find out my child victimizing srudents, I don't care what anyone says but electronics, friends, toys will be taken away until its understood that no bullying is acceptable. this is why this will be the first and last year at this school. they will be going to private school, and the board of education will be involved , and also authorities . this has gone way to far to where my child has reached a point that their learning ability has been affected and grades drastically dropping from a 4 (above proficient) to a 1 (below proficient). parents please love your children and care for them , don't forget everything begins from home.Parent Review5y ago - Rosecrest School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved from Texas in 2019 leaving a school system with Master Degree teachers, exceptional Reading Recovery for our child with dyslexia, lower than average student teacher ratios. We toured the Salt Lake public school system and recognized the challenges and short comings our kids would face. After visiting all of the private institutions within a 15 mile radius we landed on Carden. Fell in love on the tour and have never been disappointed. Outstanding teachers, classical education, small student teacher ratio, our kids have developed deep and healthy relationships with their peers and faculty, there is a focus on character, values, integrity, respect, faith, history, good literature, classical music, performing/speaking and developing their unique gifts. They have learned to ski, attend high adventures river rafting and camping in Yellowston, participating in a two week American History Tour of Washington DC and the surrounding states. Our first has matriculated to high school and began as a freshman in sophomore honors math. One area of opportunity would be science curriculum. In addition, in Texas we had dedicated reading recovery staff as a core resource, here we have had to pay out of pocket for a specialist who has been amazing. Could not ask for a better educational foundation to prepare children for success in academics and life.Parent Review3w ago - Elizabeth Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at Elizabeth Academy for three years (3rd-5th) and have had an outstanding experience. The entire team works incredibly hard to create an interesting experience for the kids that engaging them in ways that speaks to their learning styles and interests. The school has lots of fun classes, outings, field trips too. Our absolute favorite part of school is in the teachers. We were able to keep in close touch with the teachers through the three years we were there about any number of issues (social-emotional, learning) and were able to establish the dialogue that allowed us to feel like partners with the teachers.Parent Review1y ago - Elizabeth Academy
