Park View has been like a second family to us! My kids never want to leave!

It's been the ONLY public school my family has loved and been so successful and now generation after generation even MY own two kids are just starting their first years in Taylor Elementary and my daughter was just awarded student ambassador of the month for being such a kind, compassionate student and stood up against another student being bullied and befriended both the bullies and the little girl who was being bullied and now everyone's good friends!

Horrible communication. Large turnover of teachers, but mostly principals. Sad that even when a parent is involved and openly and kindly communicating their feelings with the leaders, they are disregarded.

Barnett has implemented the Leader in Me program and also teaches students as young as kindergarten about the growth mindset. The administration is actively involved in teacher training and cares about the students. The principal knows students by name and cares for each of them. Parents are encouraged to be involved in all aspects and they have good support. Students who are typically at a disadvantage due to lower SES or disability are given the support they need by technicians throughout the school as well as teachers and the administration.

Once I moved into the area, I talked to the neighborhood parents about the local school. The had great things to say! So I chose to enroll them (we had been homeschooling previously because the last neighborhood we lived in had unimpressive schools). It has been a wonderful place for my kids to learn! The teachers are caring and creative, the administration is excellent, the atmosphere is positive and clean. I'm so glad we moved here!
