Read what parents are saying about North Point SchoolWe are starting our 5th year here at North Pointe. We are renting our house and have stayed only because of this school and how well our children are cared for by the teachers and staff. These professionals (principled by Mr. Roper) genuinely love our kids and believe in educating the whole student not just academically but emotionally, physically and socially as well. The PTA is amazing and parent involvement here is outstanding giving teachers support they need to be more successful. If you live in this school's zone, count yourself LUCKY!
Posted by a parent on 8/19/2016It seems that for Utah, its a decent school but having come from California this school is average at best. The principal, Kim Roper, is completely antisocial and there is a definite hiearchy of select parents who have his ear. He has been known to be condescending towards women, ignore emails addressing student issues he deems irrelevant and is only interested in helping out his own team of parents. Its a real shame because there are some wonderful teachers.
Posted by a parent on 8/19/2016I absolutely love the school! The teachers are great it's very laid-back and very welcoming to parents . I came from a school before this one that was locked down and very military style and was very unhappy with it. I seem way more success with my kids at Northpoint. Mrs. Staples and Mrs. Knight our wonderful wonderful teachers! It is more on the conservative side which I prefer teaching patriotism and pride for our country. I would give it 10 stars !
Posted by a parent on 4/23/2016We love this school. Our son has attended North Pointe for the last two and a half years and loves it. His teachers are engaging and the administration is invested in the success of our son.
Posted by a parent on 12/9/2011There is a team effort between administrators, teachers, parents and students creating a positive learning environment.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve had 2 kids go to lehi elementary and I have been very happy with their progress. Every teacher my kids have had have been amazing. They have worked hard and well to teach my kids. The school has out a lot of things into place over the years to get students test scores up, and to make the school a more safe place (I read a review from 2010 that talked about flood safety. That has been fixed and it is no longer an issue each spring). I have been very happy with my experience at this school and would highly recommend it to anyone considering moving into the area.Parent Review2y ago - Sego Lily Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school keep kids waiting for the bell to enter school when is snowing. This will see the kids trying to find refuge in the side of the school. Only in storms days they are allowed to enter directly to school. The school has good intentions; however, they don't know how to deal with kids with disabilities. They are old fashioned in education and they have to work to update the teaching techniques. Teachers are old fashion and pile with useless homework. They are great if your kid fit in. But if your kid is different in anyway, look for other schools.Parent Review3y ago - Eaglecrest School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePer my notes above, we are not staying here. There is very little expected out of these kids. While I don't want my child to be stressed about school, there needs to be a middle ground. The teachers need to keep kids on grade level, on task, and communicate with the parents. This school is below my expectations as a parent. During this quarantine, there is hardly anything for him to do, most things are optional. His morning consists of a 5-minute writing assignment, a 10 min math session, optional spelling words, a teacher reads part of a book, and a little bit of writing.Parent Review3y ago - Fox Hollow School
