Shoreline Junior High

The school is great. The principal is awful. Some of the teachers are also combative and defensive when we tried working with them on issues my daughter has medically they spun it around on my child. Very accusatory and unwavering. I do NOT like the Principal or his style of administration or the way he treats the kids.He needs to be gone and not making decisions for children. As for his staff, I have had many wonderful encounters from teachers at the school with a few that are just awful.I'm pulling my child out so he can learn in a better environment at home. And yes....we did have a 504 plan which they would take my concerns for accommodations and make them very vague. At the end of one of our meetings, I was in absolute tears. My son will never be going back to public school again and If I had the money, I'd sue.

My children have LOVED their teachers. It’s been a wonderful experience. I love how bright and open the school is. The teachers we have this year are absolutely amazing. And one was so sweet to my daughter when she was struggling to adjust to this new school. She was there for her and that means a lot! We are so glad we’re here.
