I had to ask multiple times to get an individual parent teacher conference for my son instead of an open house style conference. His teacher shows a lack of English skills herself but grades her students punitively.
Posted by a parent on 2/10/2019I don't feel like my daughters teacher has the time or energy for his class. He's very nice , but he doesn't grade their homework , and my boyfriend's little sister (young mothers lol) who is in 1 grade up there ,is being rude and gives very confusing homework out. :/

Posted by a parent on 7/25/2013My child is in K. Even though it's 2.5 hrs/day, she learn so much and is doing very well. Her teacher keeps us up to date news. Her teaching skills are awesome. I always receive school letters and notices by email from the principal. Since I work FT during the day, this is a great way of keeping me in the loop. I like the separation of play yard for little kids. Each K class room have it's own restroom. I don't recall seeing restrooms in the hallway, so it must be part of the classroom sections. Safety is very important too, and I feel confident to leave my child in their care.

There are amazing experiences for the students in math, technology, art, and more. My kids love the art program and I love the art show. The teachers and staff are also helping the students to be accountable and, as a parent, I really appreciate that. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn a nutshell I use to go here when I was in 1st-2nd grade, this was time when my family was struggling, and having this school be horrible to me was awful, I didn't make a single friend, it felt unwelcoming, the teachers hated me for little reason, even though I did what was told. Not to mention the fact one of my teachers made me cry, and scolded me for showing normal eight year old behavior, this is just a little bit of what happened, but a cherry on top is the fact that my dad who was simply busy and wasn't thinking about me currently forgot to pick me up, (He is a very loving father and this was the ONLY, and ONLY time he had ever forgot to pick me up after school) After not seeing my dads car I sat down for like, at least two hours, it took two hours until someone in the office, which had an AMAZING view on the bench I was sitting on to finally notice me.
