In my experience, Cedar Ridge and it's leadership are ill-equiped to deal with students who have special needs. For students who need more support, instead of trying to accommodate and work with these students and their families, they do everything they can to ignore their needs and push them along
Posted by a parent on 7/9/2025This is an excellent school. Test scores are usually top 5 in district. Still do programs, art, and music, which many schools have given up in favor of high stakes testing. Very supportive parents in this srea.

We moved from another school, which had eagerly adapted assignments to my child's ability. My children have been able to participate in school plays (where everyone gets a part), take part in art programs, and enjoy programs (Business, lego league, etc...) that I have never seen at other schools! They have great teachers who care about them, and a strong community of parents who volunteer and pitch in to bring additional programs and classroom help when needed.
