Grace E Hardeman Elementary School

My family has been at PGE for 8 years. My oldest two have gone all the way through K-4 and have moved on and my youngest is currently in 1st grade. I can truly say that I could not dream of a better environment for my kids. This school is filled with incredible staff and teachers, who care about every student. The morale is very high, you can tell there is a positive vibe from leadership all the way down. The PTA is active and there is a good level of parent involvement. Everyone works together here and I am grateful for the foundation my kids have for the rest of their lives thanks to everyone here who has invested in them.

Horrible teachers my daughter got food poisoning because they had mold in the pizza. They serve the same thing every Monday and week a teacher threw away my daughter’s chips just because they were acting like regular fourth graders and it was ice cream day so my daughter put takis in her ice cream the teacher said that she was playing her food so she threw away her chips and candy and my daughter is a picky eater so she did not eat nothing rest of lunch. They have a 20 minute lunch 15 minute recess and then they’re saying that they’re trying to squeeze it in the day.

This is a school full of people who TRULY love and care about my child as much as I do. Teacher AND Admin's doors are always open for parent concerns and questions. Best school ever!

We were strong supporters of FWC before actually sending our students. There is no room for students that don’t fit in the mold of normal. Learning issues? Nope. Heaven forbid students that struggle with depression. Anxiety or more. Would never recommend this school. If you love your student and care about their mental health this is not the place for them. Literally had them tell my child they could not talk about their mental health journey. Sounds good. So in the middle of one of the most atrocious season of their lives you are now shaming them for highest donors? They (yes there are multiple)have all gone on to graduate (from different programs) but have all said FWC was the worst decision we made. There were good teachers who fought for our students and showed up when our lives flipped upside down. Ms B. With theaterMr. Nicc with bandMr. Vaughn and his son were greatMs. Hart fought sooo hard for our studentsI am sure there are more but the leadership in the upper school was not on the list.
