Read what parents are saying about Foster Village Elementary Schooli went to school here and it sucked
Posted by a parent on 4/21/2023My son wentto kindergarten last year here and overall I’m pleased with how much he was able to learn for that school year. From Math, science, social studies etc… the curriculum and school staff including teaches care for their students to prepare them for the future. Now my two neighbors kids will be going to kindergarten this year and my daughter will be going to pre-k and I can’t wait for them all to go together and the activities they will have and enjoy. Definitely pleased and happy with this school.
Posted by a parent on 8/3/2022Horrible school. In the beginning, it was good but 5th grade is the worst experience my child has had. She's been bullied, claims there are teachers that know about it but do nothing and I've tried contacting the principal about this and never got a response back. Since it's so close to the end of the school year I just told my child to stick through it and she'll never have to go back there again. They seem to only care about high test scores and not how their students are emotionally.
Posted by a parent on 5/3/2022Foster Village has wonderful teachers and a great principal who truly care about the needs of individual students.
Posted by a parent on 4/30/2020It has been a great experience, and every year we become more invested in the school and facility. Joining the PTA and helping change things that aren't working is the best for all the students.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe absolutely love Smithfield Elementary! We bought our house in the Smithfield boundaries based on a teacher friend’s recommendation, and we are grateful we did. Smithfield feels like one big welcoming family. They are a “Capturing Kids’ Hearts” showcase school, and you can feel the warmth and kindness when you walk through the doors. The counselor, Janie Smith, seems to connect to every single child on their level. We’ve seen the same care from the teachers, who value and invest in their students. The school focuses on different character qualities each quarter, and kids and teachers nominate students who have exemplified these qualities as “Wonderful Wildcats.” I’m just so thankful my child is in such an encouraging and uplifting atmosphere. He loves his teachers, friends, principals, and cafeteria monitors. It did not take long to feel part of the family. Also, since this is a school, I should add that the teachers are very experienced and gifted in helping kids who struggle and those who are high achievers to improve. I don’t know how they have the time to personalize curriculum and reading materials for every child, but they do. I compared all the local school’s ratings in student improvement, and Smithfield stood out several years ago when we were house-hunting. And they still do. The administration, staff, and teachers are doing it right.Parent Review2mo ago - Watauga Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children enjoyed K-5 at Green Valley Elementary. They were well prepared to enter middle school both academically, mentally, physically, and spiritually. We especially enjoyed the teachers that went out of their way to add a little bit extra to the experience - extra fun running club, extra after-school art club for about 6 weeks, etc. The extra-curricular field trips were plentiful and wonderful. BISD also does a great job accommodating GATE, and GVE was a great GATE campus. A family member teaches at another great elementary school in the district, but we had no qualms about our children attending GVE!Parent Review8mo ago - North Ridge Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average3 of my kids attended NRE. They had wonderful teachers who taught well, and addressed my concerns. Especially with one of my children who needed extra help keeping up. Demographics are changing a bit, but if the parents are able to be involved things should stay the same. Please know that when your child is in school the teachers need your cooperation too. Help your child with homework, check on their progress, volunteer in their classroom. These teachers love teaching but when parents don't do a thing it's harder to teach.Parent Review1y ago - St Elizabeth Ann Seton School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a single mom and my daughter went to North Park Christian Academy from kindergarten until fourth grade. My goal was to place my daughter in a school with Christian morals and strong ethical foundation. All other private schools were large scale and out of budget. When I first visited NPCA I was impressed by the warm welcome from the Principal Ms. Edwards who was very empathetic and understanding of my goal as well as my financial ability. I am glad my daughter went to NPCA and I still support the school and its ministry even though my daughter is now in college. I highly recommend this small size private school, you will not regret that decision for sure!Parent Review11mo ago
