Excelsior Academy

We love this school so much with it's rich history of 50 year in FBISD and the sustainability of teachers over the last 7 years we have been there!

This elementary school is a true gem. The teachers and staff really do work tirelessly to create an engaging learning environment. Despite being a small school, it fosters a strong sense of community. The PTA is incredibly active, organizing events and initiatives that bring families together and enrich the school experience.

My son has autism spectrum disorder his teacher is so nice( Mrs.Varela) even the para the staff and the principal. If the program is available in this school I wouldn't go any school.

My oldest is a current student at FBCA. We've been very pleased with the rigorous academics, the fantastic enrichment classes and teachers and, of course, benefits such as small class sizes. FBCA also has the most diverse student population of any private school option in the area that we looked into. Furthermore, we've been impressed by the balance that FBCA offers with respect to academics and a high level of participation in athletics and strong fine arts programs in order to promote an overall balanced educational environment (and great college applications).

Nurturing, loving teachers in a diverse community oriented school. Children are nutured and taught to be independent creative thinkers. I wish I had attended SCMS when I was growing up.

I am a parent of a student at this school and plan to send my youngest here once he is old enough. The school has been fantastic for my student and our family. We've been thoroughly impressed with the academics and enrichment opportunities for our child and we've seen phenomenal results from the upper school students that have graduated from this school. The school does a great job of balancing rigorous academics as well as a high level of participation in sports and fine arts programs.
