Dulles Elementary School

I went to highlands for 7 years, pre-k to 5th and it was AMAZING!! The teachers were all so kind, all the office staff was really caring, and I really think I learned a lot compared to any other school I’ve been to. Would really recommend :)).

My son has learned a lot in this daycare, and really like what hes learned but the staff is always looking for parents to pick up their children early so they can. Parents have their children in daycare for a reason because they have a job or school to support family or better their future not to be told to pick them up early because of snow or try to keep them home.

Nurturing, loving teachers in a diverse community oriented school. Children are nutured and taught to be independent creative thinkers. I wish I had attended SCMS when I was growing up.

I recommend Bakers Prep to anyone!! My son has been attending Bakers since he was 18 months old and he has learned and retained so much knowledge from Bakers. Great Christian based school with dedicated teachers, who love what they do!!!

It took me 5 years to finally write this, but I feel like I have to share our experience with Everest Academy.Honestly, there’s nothing particularly special about the school except that kids are surrounded by others from the same religious background. Academically, it’s okay up to around 2nd grade, but after that it really drops below expectations.One of the biggest issues is the constant teacher turnover. Many teachers seem to treat it as a temporary stop until they find something better, and that lack of stability shows.If your child has ADHD, be very cautious. In our experience, there was no real support or accommodations, and the issue wasn’t just with other kids—it was also from teachers.It’s also not very Working parent-friendly. Between early dismissals during Ramadan, extended breaks, and policies that don’t always make sense, it can be frustrating. For example, a Pre-K child being sent home for a week after three bathroom accidents in a whole semester feels unreasonable.As for Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies, we found them ineffective to the point that we had to hire outside tutors.Just sharing our experience in case it helps other parents make an informed decision

I hated being at this school. It was the wors texperience of my life. I had been bullied so much and when telling the teachers they did nothing. The course curriculum was set way above the skill level of the students and we were expected to do things that we couldn't. Don't send your kids to this school.
