The administrators and some teachers and counselors at this school do not care about any of the students' education and spend most of their time enforcing dress code. Half the faculty spends their time in the hallways doing absolutely nothing but taunting students they dislike and joking around with
Posted by a community member on 8/21/2012IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED ANY RUDENESS OR CRITICISM FORM THE PRICIPAL I SUGGESTION YOU REPORT IT TO SAISD IMMEDIATELY. SHE WAS THE SAME WAY AT BRACKENRIDGE, EXCEPT THE PARENT THEIR WOULD STAND UP FOR THEIR CHILDREN AS YOU SHOULD TOO. DO EVER HAVE YOUR CHILD SENT HOME FOR DAYS OR WEEKS WITHOUT THEIR ED
Posted by a parent on 2/11/2012Teacher's are great when they can teach instead of being babysitters to all the THUGS that are allowed to attend this school even after multiple arrests. Makes learning very difficult. In my opinion The Leadership in this school is lacking.
Posted by a parent on 5/16/2011THESE TEACHER FEEL THEY ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN THE STUDENTS. THE TEACHERS ARE MORE CONCERN WITH KEEPING THEIR JOBS AND TALKING ABOUT EACH OTHER AND THE POOREST KIDS. tHE KIDS ARE GIVEN THE BEST THEY CAN, CONSIDERING THEIR EDUCATORS LACK OF LEADERSHIP.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe current and immediately former principal of the school are on their way to running it in the ground. Before the two most recent administrators, morale was high for the teachers, the kids enjoyed their learning, and it was great success schoolwide. Not the case anymore. At first I thought it was okay, but when you take a harder, deeper look theres all kinds of issues. They begin with the higher administration.
