Read what parents are saying about Stinson Middle SchoolGreat school! I can't say enough great things about this school. We recently moved to Texas and are so happy to have found such a wonderful middle school. My son was really struggling at his old school. Since moving in, he has gotten straight As, is involved in a leadership program and has made some wonderful friends who share the same wholesome values. My son is self motivated to do his homework, he is excited about his class projects and loves going to school everyday. Highly recommend.
Posted by a parent on 5/23/2018I love the school. I had to deal with an issue of bullying and Mr. Maldonado effectively took care of the issue and my 6th grader had a great year. Since 2014, the school has made a number of changes. My personal opinion, they have made great strides academically with the kids.

Posted by a community member on 7/14/2016My son is a 6th grader at Stinston. He has had a horrible experience here. I really thought getting him into NISD would better his education but its only lowering his self esteem. I reported it to the school and still nothing has done to the bully. So I've decided to him school district s.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school, great teachers, excellent music program & librarian. Horrible location and boundaries for kids to attend are silly. We bus our kid twice as far as the closest elementary. The school is overcrowded. Texas is an awful state to have kids in public school overall, but the elementary school does the best with what they have. The teachers are the heros here. God bless them for putting up with the environment and regulations they teach under.Parent Review3mo ago - Boone Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience has been the best. My children have attended 3 other elementary schools and based on our experience the teachers here are a lot more involved. That goes to show you how much they truly care for each and every student. Mrs farmer the third grade teacher at carnahan has truly exemplified the true meaning of a TEACHER. thanks to her approach and constant communication my child enjoys her class!Parent Review4y ago
