They claim to offer discounted tuition, but in reality you are required to pay an additional $50 every month, and they explicitly tell you how much you must give. It feels less like a voluntary contribution and more like a mandatory fee disguised as charity.What’s even more troubling is the complete lack of privacy. Personal matters are openly discussed and spread around, making it feel like your private business becomes public knowledge. There is no sense of confidentiality or respect.If you are not from San Antonio, and especially if you are a foreigner, do not expect to feel welcomed. Instead of inclusion and compassion—values the church claims to stand for—you are made to feel like an outsider.Overall, this environment is judgmental, unwelcoming, and far from the values a Catholic institution should represent.
