Brackenridge High School

I had a teacher tell say "she will not change for someone with a disability." And she has high expectations for her students. My sons a Kindergarten in Bonham Primary which is part of the academy school. He was struggling with his behavior as we are waiting for therapy. They had a task force for my son because they didn't know how to handle him. And the teacher is triggered by my son. The teacher is always sending him out of the class when he is being difficult, instead of trying to learn and help my son. She rather not deal with him.

This school is very concerning for me and I feel it needs to be investigated kids are not learning here and it's concerning to have a school open and children aren't successful out this school 2 of my 3 kids hated briscoe and couldn't wait to leave the school the teachers are mean and rude they speak to the kids ugly and scream at the younger prek and kinder kids the principle never gets back to parents when they have concerns she seems like she doesn't want to deal with it and believes her staff more then the parents of the children they get mad if you hang around and use the playground the female gym coach is very rude and disrespectful there's alot of concerns and this school should be closed because kids are not successful here it's sad how nothing gets done and alot of parents don't say anything wish more people spoke up this elementary needs to be closed or fire everyone and get all new employees or send them back for them to be retrained cause these staff and principle is a sad representation for SAISD

I went to this school many years ago, it was a great school then and now. One of my good friends that also was a former student is now a teacher there. If I still lived in San Antonio I would definitely send my girl to this school. I know they would be happy, safe and get lots of love and support from teachers and staff, as well as a wonderful educational experience.

Highly recommend this school its an A rated school two years in a row, teachers are so amazing and love that they get to teach because they are the best my child in kinder was learning to tell time and by second grade he was reading, the teachers are so amazing and the staff are so great, this school is a hidden gem, it’s amazing
