There is a teacher that I had the pleasure of meeting her name is Mrs. Curtis. She is new to school but her overwhelming personality brings such a radiant disposition not just to the school, but to the students and staff. Her skills in her field will hopefully bring an abundance of knowledge to help assist in her area expertise. Thank you, Mrs. Curtis, Hope you have plenty years here at Pecan Grove

As a former student who's siblings now attend this school is fin aside from the fact that my younger sibling says "all the children in my school are gangsters" and how the children cuss (not like adult cussing things like sh*t f*vk ) as children are exposed to a lot of things this is not preventable she does say that the teachers try to prevent this. The teachers do not discriminate children of color and treat my sister well

We are deeply grateful for the years Julia spent at Montessori House for Children. She joined the school in 1st grade and attended for five years. We couldn't have made a better choice. As a family, we witnessed firsthand the immense benefits of Montessori education, and especially attending the MHFC. The teachers are highly qualified, and the entire staff is caring and welcoming. The Montessori experience instilled in Julia a profound appreciation for the value of education. The learning habits she formed at MHFC made her successful and middle school and now in high school. Beyond academics, she gained exposure to different cultures, learned to respect and accept diverse opinions, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Even after leaving MHFC, Julia continued to stay connected. During school vacations, she returned to visit and help which classroom chores. Now in high school, she volunteers at MHFC, an opportunity the school gladly offered. This encouragement for alumni involvement reflects on the school’s deep care for its students, long after they graduate. MHFC has had a tremendous impact on our lives, and we will be forever grateful to all the teachers and staff who make the school such a special place. Thank you.

I will say that when my child started in 2023, we had a different Principle and staff. After she left, most of the amazing teachers went too. I was initially excited for FBISD but with the incoming Principle, I feel like disorganization soon followed. My child has a non- certified teacher who is struggling with certain classes that said teacher teaches and the principle has been made aware of things that have been said, but nothing has changed. I would love for the kids to be able to be kids at elementary school. Every time I have lunch with my child, there is no talking in the lunchroom. One of the staff told me that they disrupt the music room??? That, my friend is a poorly planned layout. They are overcrowded and I feel lie that is the reason they want kids to not be rowdy. There are better fixes: maybe open the field before school at drop off time for the kids to expend some energy [prior to class starting and then again at the end of the day. These are free fixes that make a huge difference. It feels like our principle is in over her head and she has a lot of new educators, just adding to the issue.
