Posted by a teacher on 12/18/2023Horrible school! Kids are kept in school like cages and don't have free will to have there phone and have bathrooms breaks much. Assistance principle is always getting into kids business and made my daughter feel uncomfortable. They seem to care more on the students that get in trouble and put a whole lot of pressure on them, this isn't a healthy way in communicating with students by calling them a lier and just pointing what they have done instead they should really be working on how to properly communicate with them instead of hurting there feeling and breaking down there spirit.

Posted by a parent on 2/25/2022Overall it's fantastic. My friend's son goes here and they have nothing to say but great things.
Posted by a community member on 7/30/2018Academics, athletics, fine arts and extracurriculars are top notch. This school is underrated because people compare it to Jasper. If you compare it to other districts then you realize, how amazing it is.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 2 boys transferred away from Huffman and my oldest is behind on his reading. I’ve expressed my concerns to the teacher and even principal. Got him one on one tutoring. They were not very helpful on individual help.Parent Review8mo ago - Montessori School of North Dall

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been blown away during our first year at POPCS! The teachers and faculty are fantastic, the Christ-centered education is unmatched, the commitment to excellence is evident and they have truly made us feel right at home. The community is nurturing, friendly and inclusive. Would highly recommend this school!Parent Review4mo ago - Prince of Peace Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to POP for many years and had a horrible experience. The only good quality this school displays is the “education”. If you think teachers loading up hours of homework on students is good education, by all means, you’d love it here! I have learning differences and never were my accommodations given to me. I was told that my accommodations were not necessary. Teachers also have an extreme lack of care for students and it absolutely shows. The tension when walking through the halls is undeniable. The school is so desperate for staff they’ll hire anyone, which is detrimental to learning for the students. Nothing here is made to be fun, as the dress code policies are absurd. Wearing a hair tie which doesn’t make the color of your hair will be confiscated by the dean. As students we have to care more about the length of our skirt than our own well-being. I hope anyone thinking of sending their children here reads this review. There are so many amazing schools out there and Prince of Peace is just not one of them.Other Review4mo ago - Keystone Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe owner( also) the Phonics teacher June Campbell is a very rude and unprofessional teacher, she hung up my phone call when I was on the phone and explaining my questions( she told me there are a lot of practice words in the video however, there is only one or two words practice in the video in every lesson) , I was asking if she gave me the wrong CD but she hung up my phone and never apologize to me, I would not let my daughter to be taught by such rude and terrible teacher.
