Vanguard sucks it’s a school that holds boundaries and restrict children to almost everything you aren’t able to walk the halls freely, without getting asked “were you suppose to be”too strict ,if you want to ruin your child go ahead the staff at vanguard academy Rembrandt are terrible most of them are some go out of the lines to make you feel small and power over you and it’s ridiculous let’s your child enjoy their year by not putting them in vanguard your welcome.

I can't wait to get my child out of this school! They put her in another parents vehicle they keep changing her teacher. As for me and my child's first experience because my child is in pre-k , I think they have ruined it. They always ask for money. When we go to functions nothing is organized or they don't have a place for us to sit and my child has fallen due to the teacher walking so fast. The principal actually said to me that she wasn't going to baby anyone and if I didn't like it then to take my child out of school. Who would say that if they are the ones running the school. Extremely disappointed

My kids have been going to this school and i love the staff. They do their best to help our kids

This school has a great principal who is very involved and is "present." The teachers at this school really care about the students and will go above and beyond to help. My daughter (moved to this school in 2nd grade) is extremely shy and thanks to the encouragement of her 2nd and 3rd grade teachers, she is more confident and excelling in school - all A's! They have partnered up with the City of Pharr to provide excellent after-school programs. Academics are good. My daughter's reading has improved dramatically, along with reinforcement at home. Curriculum is taught in English. I am sure they offer ESL classes for those students who need it.

School doesn’t know how to handle adhd students or special needs. They expect for children to fallow every direction without expecting them to all learn different. If my son isn’t on drugs they complain instead of finding out a solution!
