Vanguard sucks it’s a school that holds boundaries and restrict children to almost everything you aren’t able to walk the halls freely, without getting asked “were you suppose to be”too strict ,if you want to ruin your child go ahead the staff at vanguard academy Rembrandt are terrible most of them are some go out of the lines to make you feel small and power over you and it’s ridiculous let’s your child enjoy their year by not putting them in vanguard your welcome.

Bad student teacher ratio that they are unable to keep track of the children and their development. No teacher parent communication and lack of professionalism. Second year with my child there and after this year he will not be returning to Idea San Juan.

My kids have been going to this school and i love the staff. They do their best to help our kids

This school has a great principal who is very involved and is "present." The teachers at this school really care about the students and will go above and beyond to help. My daughter (moved to this school in 2nd grade) is extremely shy and thanks to the encouragement of her 2nd and 3rd grade teachers, she is more confident and excelling in school - all A's! They have partnered up with the City of Pharr to provide excellent after-school programs. Academics are good. My daughter's reading has improved dramatically, along with reinforcement at home. Curriculum is taught in English. I am sure they offer ESL classes for those students who need it.

Teachers are great...it is one of the best schools in the PSJA ISD...the teacher involvement is excellent.... Teachers actually care about the education of the students....I had the best elementary experience with my daughter at this school...

Good community, but horrible in academics. The ACE curriculum is a joke and the teachers are not even certified to teach.
