Security is a big issue—they always say they have tight security, but sometimes people vape, bring unloaded guns, or make serious threats. This school provides little to no decent services in any of the subjects taught. Teachers are unreliable, and they talk ill of students behind their backs. The student prevented the class from learning and many other were assaulted and bullied. The students and teachers needed help and the school and district did nothing. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll our 3 children have gone to Mott Elementary. We had wonderful teachers and they made great friends. Only one of my children had a teacher issue in second grade -- her teacher had a baby and she did not return to work once the license was done. Even with all that uncertainty, the school was able to find good substitute teachers that made the situation easier on the children. We have been with two principals and they were both caring and active. The school is organized and the staff are very prompt and kind. And we cannot say enough good things about the families in this school. So many wonderful parents that teach their children well and make our job easier with our own. Even though the school has people from many different cultures and traditions, we find our children are reinforced on the things we teach from their peers who are being taught the same things at home. The teachers act like providing the smallest amount of individual care is extra work and beyond them. The principal will lie to your face. Instead of lifting my student and providing support, they punished her. Bullying goes unnoticed or ignored. I haven't figured it out, but a fourth grader should not have to experience the anxiety this school creates. As a parent, you will be ignored, controlled, or made to feel like you are nothing or that your opinion does not matter.Parent Review8mo ago
